These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Twyn (the "Service"). By creating an account or using Twyn, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use Twyn, and able to form a binding contract.
Your account
You're responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us of any unauthorized use.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm others, or post unlawful, hateful, or infringing content.
- Spam, scrape, or send unsolicited bulk messages.
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
- Use the Service for anything illegal.
We may suspend or remove accounts and content that violate these Terms.
Your content
You retain ownership of the content you create. You grant Twyn a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, and process your content solely to operate and improve the Service. You're responsible for the content you share and confirm you have the right to share it.
Collaboration rooms and calls
Twyn provides video/audio rooms for collaboration. Calls are peer-to-peer where possible. You're responsible for your conduct in rooms and for anything you share, including screen shares.
Subscriptions and billing
Twyn Pro is a paid subscription billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties (e.g., Anthropic, Stripe, GitHub). Your use of those features may be subject to their terms. We're not responsible for third-party services.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that matches, collaborations, or the Service will meet your expectations or be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Twyn will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
You may stop using Twyn and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service.
Changes
We may update the Service and these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date, and continued use after changes means you accept them.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Twyn operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
